Tonight a cold front dropped through the area, triggering a string of thunderstorms. The storms were clearing while we were eating dinner at my MIL's, and I happened to look out the window and see a rainbow behind the house. Grabbing my camera, I stepped out the back door and snapped this photo over the neighbor's house:

Huh! If you could manage a cold front moving into Charleston in July, I would renounce my religion and worship you as God. And you would deserve it.

The front should pass through Charleston sometime tomorrow, and Saturday should be significantly cooler. You may get some nasty T-storms tomorrow, but the weekend should be quite pleasant.
