Tonight a cold front dropped through the area, triggering a string of thunderstorms. The storms were clearing while we were eating dinner at my MIL's, and I happened to look out the window and see a rainbow behind the house. Grabbing my camera, I stepped out the back door and snapped this photo over the neighbor's house:

Gorgeous pic! We had the same cold front move through but it was dark by that time with no hopes of a rainbow to enjoy in its aftermath.

Same cold front here (Thank God!) but instead of a rainbow, an incredibly vivid pink and purple sky at sunset.

Nice! Now can we get some of that cold front? I'm melting down here!
Bumma has one of those! But it usually works inversely!

Huh! If you could manage a cold front moving into Charleston in July, I would renounce my religion and worship you as God. And you would deserve it.

Nice pic, BTW. :-)

Beautiful! I've never been able to get a good pic of a rainbow -- great job!
