Okay, here is a picture of our Christmas tree:



This year we decided to set the tree up downstairs in our big family room. We'll have more room on Christmas morning, and the wood stove will make the room nice and toasty. In previous years, we set it up in the living room upstairs, in front of the bay window. We'll see how it works downstairs.

BTW - the tree skirt was hand quilted by my father!

It'a a lovely tree! I bet many of the ornaments have their own story to tell :)

My sister is quilting a tree skirt for me! But I don't have it yet :( I took a lot of pictures while we were setting it up, sending them to her from my phone, citing "naked" trees, "skirtless" trees, etc. I finally gave in and put on the old tree skirt yesterday. It's not the same :)

Your tree is beautiful and I think it's fabulous you have a tree skirt that's not only gorgeous but a hand-made treasure. Kudos to you dad for his lovely work.
