Winter Storm Warning

Last night we went on our "Moonlight" sleigh ride up on the mountain. Our sleigh was pulled by a Snowcat, so it wasn't a peaceful, quiet ride. Even so, it was beautiful up on the mountain at night, with glorious views of the city in the valley below.

Of course, this made it a later night than normal, and as a result, got a later start this morning. During breakfast, I checked the weather report for the mountain, and found that we are under a Winter Storm Warning! Looking out the window at the sunny morning, this was a bit hard to believe, but when we got up on the mountain, there was plenty of new snow. It wasn't quite as heavy as yesterday, but I must be running out of steam, as I had a really difficult time with a few runs through the middle of the afternoon.

We skied until all the lifts were shut down, and then headed to the ticket office to extend our 7 of 9 day lift tickets for another day. Depending on how we feel tomorrow, we may buy another extension, for 9 consecutive days of skiing.
