(to the tune of "Singing in the Rain")
Skiing in the Rain,
Just Skiing in the rain.
What a damp, frigid feeling,
I'm freezing again.
Ok, I'm done. Maybe I'll come up with more words for that later, when I finish thawing out. Other than the heavy rain, I really couldn't complain about the skiing conditions. There were no lift lines (duh...we were the only ones stupid enough to be skiing!), and while the runs were icy, it was warm enough to get our edges in, so we did get some good skiing in. Unfortunately, we got thoroughly drenched, and as the wind picked up in the early afternoon, we all got very cold. We spent an hour in the indoor (and very warm) swimming pool. The kids are now almost ready for bed, and Mrs. Qgeek is off using the equipment in the workout room while the outerwear dries in the laudromat. The temps are dropping, so the trails will probably be icy tomorrow, but it should be clear, so we shouldn't get as wet!
