As reported by
thebiblioholic, earlier this week Nikon announced that they are dropping out of the film camera business to concentrate on digital cameras. Today's Washington Post includes an article in the business section detailing Konica Minolta's plans to stop selling cameras (both film and digital). There's definitely a shake-down in the works in the world of photography. It will be interesting to see what the marketplace looks like when the dust settles...
