Tonight a cold front dropped through the area, triggering a string of thunderstorms. The storms were clearing while we were eating dinner at my MIL's, and I happened to look out the window and see a rainbow behind the house. Grabbing my camera, I stepped out the back door and snapped this photo over the neighbor's house:

Gorgeous pic! We had the same cold front move through but it was dark by that time with no hopes of a rainbow to enjoy in its aftermath.

The storms moved off to the east just prior to sunset, so the sun peeked through under the clouds briefly before dropping below the horizon. I wish I'd thought to look west while I was out there...it probably was a dramatic sunset...
