Our ninth consecutive day of skiing started out clear and bright. However, the temperature on the top of the mountain was a bone chilling -10F (-23C). I finally found a day to warrant all the clothing layers I brought along. There was little new snow, and the temperature had hardened the base, so it was another fast skiing day.We had to take more breaks to warm up, and our breaks were a bit longer, but we still got some great runs in. At the end of the day, we took one last advantage of our VIP status to join the ski patrol for the final sweep of the mountain. We were among the very last people off the mountain, and it was very cool to look around as we skied and see no other people.
We're now trying to repack the bags so they all meet the airline weight limit of 50lbs. I've checked in on-line for tomorrow's flights, and our shuttle van has been scheduled. Soon it will be time to go home.
