Home, sweet, home!

We're back from our adventures in West Virginia. Our original plan was to ski most of the day today and leave late in the evening and we would just getting home about now. However, when we woke up this morning, we realized that our sunburn was much worse than we thought last night. We looked at our daughters' faces, and realized that we couldn't spend another day skiing. Any more exposure to the sun was going to be dangerous for the girls.

So, we turned in the girls' rental skis, checked out, and headed for home. We're a little disappointed that we didn't get another day of skiing in, but we did get two full days of skiing. Our girls made terrific progress with their skiing, so it was a great trip, even if we had to leave early. My wife is already making plans for next winter. We definitely need to get the girls into ski school next year, even if they end up being better skiers than I am!
