I've only been to two caverns in my life (Luray and the ones Mark Twain wrote about in Hannibal, Missouri). It's great to know you prefer Luray :-)
Anyway, the real reason I'm posting is that characters in the book I'm currently reading JUST visited Carlsbad Caverns as well. So it was great timing to see this post. Sounds like you had a much better time than the characters in the book did, though :-)
