Thanks, rqg! That was terrific! I just love it when somebody winds up Mormons, though in this instance they took it pretty well.
I haven't been evangelized by Mormons in years. My tactic is to interrogate them mercilessly on arcane aspects of Mormon lore like the Nemite tablets (about which I picked up a smattering of knowledge at the jailhouse in Liberty, MO, where Joseph Smith was once imprisoned). This is usually enough to convince them I don't need to hear any more of their stuff.
