My wife (who, apparently, has somehow failed to learn the meaning of the word "no") has committed herself to making a cake for the reception after our older daughter's first piano recital in two weeks. Of course, this can't be just any old cake...no, this has to be a piano cake! She tracked down an old Wilton piano cake set on eBay, bid on it and won the auction. The seller then proceeded to wait two weeks after receiving payment to ship the darn thing. When it finally arrived, it wasn't a complete set! The listing description was vague and the seller wasn't clearly answering other bidders' questions, so my wife knows that this is really her own fault.
So...now she's desperate. She still wants to honor her commitment to make a piano cake, but she doesn't have the pans or accessories to make that happen. She asked me to inquire as to whether any of my on-line friends might have access to a piano cake pan set that they would be willing to loan her for a few weeks (or know someone who does). She's willing to pay for shipping in both directions, and would really appreciate it if someone could help her out.
So, how about it? Does anyone out there have a connection that can help my wife out?
