Most of New York was still firmly planted in Fall. It was only as you approached the immediate vicinity of the Lake Erie or Lake Ontario that any significant snow existed. By the time we left on Sunday, it was already starting to melt, and it is probably faded down to dirty brown snow banks along the roads by now.
