I am so sorry that he has not accepted that he has a problem, Andy. That must be so hard for all his family, including you.

i have no personal experience with addiction to draw on but a friend who is an alcoholic told me that he had to experience rock bottom before he made a change and that he lived from minute to minute, then hours before he was able to deal with a day at a time but still lives from day to day in terms of his recovery. It seems sadly unlikely that your brother will ever reach that place but i will pray for him to find acceptance before it is too late.
