I know you're probably not one to watch a lot of television, but as I read this post, I couldn't help but think of the show The Big Bang Theory. It's an amusing show about a bunch of guys who are physicists. They live across the hall from a typical dumb blonde. This show pokes fun at the social inadequacies of the really smart guys, and the dumb-ness of the blonde. It may not help "break through that wall", but it does bring some of those prejudices to light.
